Scholastic Art & Writing Award Winners

This program extends the artistic and creative possibilities offered to students during the academic day with over twenty arts-based classes. It’s an opportunity for students to unwind, try something entirely new, or to delve more deeply into an art form for which they have already developed a passion.
These “footprint videos” are traces of the various projects, activities, and challenges Putney students navigate in the sciences as they learn the specific skills and knowledge required for graduation.
We believe that knowledge only gains power from being applied and extended. The Putney School has led the movement in project-based learning and integrated academics through our semi-annual Project Weeks. Over 9 days, students propose and work with faculty mentors to carry out individual projects related to their academic coursework.
